Here’s how we process, look after and protect your data

We’re sorry to hear that you may have concerns around your data. Be that the storage, use or processing of, and the information below outlines the steps we take to ensure the highest level of data security and governance.

How safe is your data?

We store all customer data in a centralised system that requires 256bit SSL secure sign in using TLS X.509 certificates, which are considered industry standard. We have various access levels within the system to ensure only those members of the team that need access to customer data, do. Additionally our Claims, Customer Services and Sales team do not have access to export data out of the system.

Do we report data breaches to the Information Commissioner?

Yes we do, if required or appropriate. We are legally bound to report, or at least the identification of, any high risk data protection breaches that have the likelihood of resulting in the risk of people’s rights and freedoms being compromised. To date Nova Direct and/or PEX Insure has not encountered such a data breach and do not consider this to be one of those incidents.
