The Policy says “All customers have a general duty of mitigation, meaning that they must keep their losses to a minimum. We will source alternative quotes in order to value the economic damage to Your Gadget and will only offer you the lowest figure available”.
Genuine manufacturer, i.e. Apple or Samsung, parts will only be used if the costs for such does not exceed the lowest repair costs or quote. The lowest quote for repair may use compatible or OEM parts.
