We understand that your details, including your address and registration number, can change. The information on this page is aimed to make the process, and your request, as simple as possible. Please note that we cannot accept policy adjustments over the phone.
What happens and when?
Upon submitting the change form and paying the £4.99 administration fee, your request will be sent to the Nova Direct - Customer Services Team for processing. This in turn will be processed and you will receive confirmation of completion of the change within 72 hours.
If your change request relates to a vehicle registration number change please note that whilst your breakdown policy will remain in force a 72 hours claims exclusion period from the date of change will apply.
Please note that if you are requesting an address change for home emergency then you will be required to revalidate your policy by submitting the required documentation. Failure to do so may result in any future claim being denied.

You can find further information by reading the Nova Direct Terms Of Business, a document available prior to purchase, after and accompanies all policy confirmation emails. Please note that this does not effect your statutory rights.
It is a condition of your Gadget Insurance Policy that you validate your items with us within the first 7 days of your policy starting. Failure to comply with this policy condition may result in your claim being denied. Validation after the 7 day period will still be accepted by us subject to the payment of a £4.99 administration fee. Please note that if you have already lodged a claim with us that claim will remain denied. However, once your Gadget has been repaired you can revalidate with us in order to ensure continuation of cover on your Gadget. This will then protect your Gadget against any potential future losses.
